Matt Hsu is a certified Rolfer™ serving the Financial and Inner Richmond districts of San Francisco. He has helped business executives, corporate attorneys, investment bankers, health professionals, college professors, and desk jockeys of all stripes and from all over the world put their bodies back together again. He draws on his dedicated studies of biomechanics, neurophysiology, and clinically effective manual and movement therapy techniques to help his clients find ease and efficiency in their bodies. With experience as a competitive athlete, an international educator, and a person in chronic pain, he is able to relate to the unique needs of each of his clients so that healing can happen.
Matt is an actively serving member of the Rolf Institute Membership Committee and the Ida P. Rolf Research Foundation Communication Committee. He also manages StructuralIntegration.info, a reference blog on the science and experience of structural integration and Finding Ease, a venue for tips, tricks, and musings on the maintenance of the human machine.
Matt is fully certified by the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO to perform Rolfing Structural Integration. He received a B.A. in World Literature with a minor in German from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has lived, worked, studied and traveled extensively across Asia and Europe.
